Healing priest Faller tests positive for COVID-19

Healing priest Father Joey Faller has tested positive of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The priest revealed this information Wednesday, June 2, in a video posted on his Facebook page.

In a separate interview with church-run Radio Veritas, Faller thanked the people for their prayers.

“Don't worry and thank you to all those praying, I feel better and good," he said.

Faller said he is currently under self quarantine at the Kamay ni Hesus in Quezon.

On Wednesday, the Kamay ni Hesus Healing Church also announced that it will be closed to the public from June 3 to 10.

"In compliance with existing public health protocol, the KNHHC shall conduct cleaning and disinfection measures within the premises during the said period," read the announcement.

KNHHC said this is to ensure the safety of pilgrims and devotees.
