Did Rabiya Mateo finally reconnect with estranged father?

Many were downright excited with Miss Universe -Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo posting on social media a photo of her with writer-director-producer Cyrus Nowrasteh.

Apparently, many of her fans thought him Rabiya's long lost dad.

Note that among reasons Rabiya stated for her extended stay in the US is her aim to reconnect with her estranged father.

Said one fan, "Jusme! Akala ko nakita na niya tatay niya! Muntik ako mapatalon!!"

Added another, "Akala ko dad mo. May hawig e. LOL!"

Although Rabiya didn't offer details as to what the meeting was all about, she made clear her excitement about it via the caption.

She wrote, "One day before I leave US, I was privileged enough to have a dinner with Hollywood Director @nowrastehcyrus, the man behind the movie 'The Young Messiah' and many more great films."

Released in 2016, "The Young Messiah" is a Biblical drama focusing on a 7-year-old Jesus.

Among Cyrus' other works include "Infidel" starring Jim Caviezel, "The Stoning Of Soraya M," which won the Audience Award for Best Feature at the 2009 Los Angeles Film Festival, and "The Day Reagan Was Shot" starring Richard Dreyfuss.

Other fans expressed hope they are actually planning to do a film together.
