P/$ rate closes at P48.645/$1

The peso closed  lower  at P48.645  to the US dollar Monday, (June 28)  from P48.481 last Friday. The weighted average rate depreciated to P48.604  from P48.57. Total volume amounted to $999.3 million according to the Bankers Association of the Philippines.
