IPM 2022 recruits new members for 'Run Sara Run' bid

The group behind the calls for Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio to seek the presidency in the May 2022 elections has started recruiting members that it will deploy all over the country to ensure her victory.

"Kami po ay nagagalak na ipabatid sa inyo na ang grupo ng Ituloy ang Pagbabago Movement (IPM) 2022 ay masigasig na nagrerecruit ng mga magiging miyembro para sa pagsisikap na mahikayat ang ating mahal na Mayor Sara Duterte ng Davao City to run for president this coming 2022 elections at maipaliwanag na walang pupwedeng magpapatuloy sa mga proyekto ng kanyang ama tungo sa pagbabago ng Pilipinas kundi ang Agila ng Davao City, Inday Sara." (We are happy to inform you that the group of Ituloy ang Pagbabago Movement (IPM) 2022 is enthusiastic to recruit members to convince our beloved Mayor Sara Duterte of Davao City to run for president this coming 2022 elections and to drive home the point that no one will continue the projects of her father towards the Philippine's transformation but the Eagle of Davao City herself, Inday Sara.)

This was announced by Davao Occidental Governor Claude P. Bautista, Chairman of the IPM 2022 during a short program after the blessing of the IPM 2022 headquarters along Angeles road in San Francisco, Magalang, Pampanga on Sunday, June 27.

Bautista is encouraging the new members of IPM 2022 and the public to help them convince Mayor Sara to run for president in the 2022 national elections. He said since last year, Mayor Sara had repeatedly said that she would not run for president in 2022.

"Nakita niya kasi ang paghihirap ng kanyang ama sa pangarap ng pagbabago sa ating bansang Pilipinas. Nakikita niya kung paano labanan ni PRRD ang lahat ng mga anomalya hindi lamang sa gobyerno kundi maging sa mga pribadong sector na nandodoon ang mas malaking problema," (She saw how her father struggled to bring about change in the country . She saw how PRRD tried his best to fight all anomalies not only in the government but also in the private sectors)," Bautista said.

He added that IPM 2022 needs the support of Filipinos to convinced the Eagle of Davao, Inday Sara, to run for president.

The blessing of the IPM 2022 headquarters was attended by several Pampagueno groups. Magalang Mayor Romulo Pecson and Sanggunian members thanked Bautista for choosing Magalang, Pampanga as the location for the IPM 2022 headquarters.

Also present during the event were Edgar Ramos Ibuyan, IPM 2022 national vice-chairman; Datu Bassher "Bong" Alonto, IPM NCR chairman and National Muslim Affairs; Alma Moreno, IPM political affairs chairman of Paranaque City; Congresswoman Annie Susano, Hamid Ladjakahal of the DILG's Muslim Affairs office, and former Mayor Ustad Noaim A. Dipatuan, chairman of IPM, Lanao Del Sur.
