Is Rabiya Mateo coming home sooner than expected?

Looks like it.

The Miss Universe pageant Philippines 2020 titleholder recently shared a selfie on Instagram.

She captioned it, "Howdy! Someone’s about to go home soon."

Though she didn’t add details, fans were quick to express excitement about it.

Some of the comments:

“Yey! Can’t wait!”

“Wow! About time too!!”

“Ate, pasalubong ha?? Charot!!”

Others were eager to know about her showbiz plans.

“Saang network kaya siya pipirma?”

“Sana i-pair siya kay Alden Richards o kay John Lloyd Cruz!!”

Mateo has been in the US since April, weeks prior to representing the country at the 69th Miss Universe pageant in Florida, May 16.

She has since been travelling across the US, visiting tourist spots and attending events.

Among places she visited include LA, New York, and most recently, Seattle.

“That was my favor to the organization, if I can stay a little bit longer. Since this is my first time to stay out of the country, I really want to make memories, meet people, and I’m planning to look for my dad… I’m positive I’m gonna meet him,” she shared in an earlier interview.

Rabiya is yet to fulfill that dream.
