
The country has recorded 6,871 more coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases on Saturday, June 26, bringing the cumulative total to 1,391,911.
The newly detected cases brought the active cases nationwide to 53,447, the Department of Health (DOH) reported.
Of the active cases 89.4 percent are mild, 5.7 percent are asymptomatic, 1.4 percent are in critical state, two percent are in severe condition, and 1.44 percent have moderate symptoms.
There were also 8,720 more patients who have beaten the viral illness causing the recovery tally to increase to 1,314,220. The country's recovery rate stood at 94.4 percent.
Meanwhile, the death toll rose to 24,244 after 92 new fatalities were confirmed, the DOH said.
All laboratories were able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System, the DOH said.
It was also shown in the case bulletin that 58 percent of the country's intensive care unit beds were utilized while 46 percent of isolation beds were occupied.
