Team Secret overcame a losing start to take down MVP of Hong Kong, 3-1, and cruise to the quarterfinals of the League of Legends: Wild Rift Southeast Asia Icon Series Summer Super Cup on Friday, June 25.

Secret wasted away a massive early lead in the opening game, but got its bearings back to dominate the next three games.

The Filipino squad backed by the European esports giant arranged a quarterfinal brawl against Vietnamese side and Group C top seed CERBERUS Esports on Saturday.

Mid laner Heri "Tatsurii" Garcia on his Galio came through with a perfectly-timed Hero's Entrance to lead the Game 2-winning clash wherein Secret wiped out three MVP champions and marched straight to destroy the enemy Nexus.

Tatsurii finished with three kills and five assists against a lone death, same with jungler Robert "Trebor" Mansilungan's Olaf.

ADC Caster "Chewy" Dela Cruz's Corki wreaked havoc to power the crushing 19-6 triumph in Game 3 that saw him rack up a perfect record of six kills and nine assists.

Chewy had captain-support James "Hamez" Santos' Galio (14 assists against a lone death) to thank for snowballing in the game that pushed Secret to the match point.
