Panerai introduces new global ambassador Jeremy Jauncey

The partnership was forged on World Oceans Day this year

Panerai has welcomed Jeremy Jauncey to its team of global ambassadors. The internationally recognized entrepreneur, investor, and business advisor will collaborates with the watch brand next year on projects that address a shared passion for adventure and environmentally sustainable practices. As founder and CEO of Beautiful Destinations, an award-winning strategy and creative agency for travel businesses, Jauncey has become one of the most compelling and influential voices in his industry. His company was recognized by Fast Company as one of the world’s most innovative. And whether it is through his brand’s wanderlust-inducing social media, which have over 30 million followers, or collaborations with his diverse portfolio of partners, Jauncey is a tireless champion of travel as a force for good for both travelers and the destinations they visit. Realizing that considerations of sustainability and conservation are inseparable from responsible travel, Jauncey has also been an ambassador for the World Wildlife Fund and GoldStandard.org.

Founded in Florence in 1860 as a workshop, shop, and school of watch-making, for many decades Panerai supplied the Italian navy in general, and its specialist diving corps in particular, with precision instruments. The designs developed by Panerai in that time, including the Luminor and Radiomir, were covered by the Military Secrets Act for many years and were launched on the international market only after the brand was acquired by the Richemont Group in 1997. Today Panerai develops and crafts its movements and watches at its Neuchâtel manufacture. The latter are a seamless melding of Italian design flair and history with Swiss horological expertise.
