Advincula to use crozier of first Imus bishop during installation
The crozier or pastoral staff that Cardinal Jose Advincula will be using during his solemn installation on June 24 belongs to the first bishop of Imus.

The Manila Cathedral said Archbishop Artemio Casas served as first rector of the postwar Cathedral, who later on also became as Archbishop of Jaro.
The crozier carried by the bishop during liturgical celebrations is a symbol of his pastoral function in the local church.
It is shaped like a shepherd’s crook to symbolize his role as “shepherd of the flock of God.”
Advincula will be installed as the 33rd Archbishop of Manila at the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros.
He succeeded Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle who was appointed by Pope Francis as prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of People's in the Vatican.
Meanwhile, Tagle, in a video message, told his successor to "just be who you are."
"Don’t worry you are God’s gift as you are, be who you are," he said.
