Valenzuela gov't starts inoculation of indigent residents

Around 1,200 Valenzuela City residents belonging to indigent groups have already received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

This came after the local government rolled out on Sunday its vaccination program for the A-5 category.

The local government said members of the country's Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or the 4Ps were the first to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

Around 51,900 individuals, composed of 14,275 4Ps members and their families are set to be inoculated.

The local government still does not allow walk-ins at vaccination sites, saying only those who have scheduled appointments can be inoculated.
