Seventeen sells 974,813 copies of 'Your Choice' in 3 days, tops Hanteo's weekly chart

K-pop boy band Seventeen sold nearly 975,00 copies of their new album “Your Choice” in just three days and topped the weekly chart by a wide margin.

“Your Choice” was released on June 18 and topped Hanteo Chart’s daily physical album chart with a whopping 881,788 copies in sales. The album sold 70,593 copies (first place) on the following day and 22,432 copies (first place).

The album sold a total of 974,813 copies in three days and topped Hanteo’s weekly album chart covering the period June 14 to June 20.

In the last Hanteo weekly album chart (June 7 to 13), EXO’s “Don’t Fight the Feeling” was No. 1 with 902,210 copies sold.

Seventeen members are currently under self-quarantine after a staff member of HYBE and an external staff tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Pledis announced on June 19 that because of this, Seventeen have postponed the promotional activities for the album and they will be under quarantine until June 29.

During a press conference for the album, Seventeen said their aim is to make it to Billboard's main charts.

"We've always released new albums on Monday but this time we did it on Friday," said Seungkwan. "We hope more people in the United States will pay attention to us and that we'll also have more chances to perform globally. We want to make it to the Billboard's main charts. It will be really encouraging, which is why we're aiming to reach that goal."

Leader S.Coups said, "Just making it onto the charts will provide a big boost for us," according to Yonhap News.
