Some P500,000 worth of goods were destroyed in a fire that broke out at Cartimar Market in Pasay City Sunday night.
According to Fire Inspector Alejandro Ramos of the Pasay City Bureau of Fire and Protection, the fire started at the two-story administration building of Cartimar Market located at Barangay 39, Zone 5, Pasay City at about 7:15 p.m.
Ramos said the fire immediately spread since some parts of the building were made of wood.
Initial investigation showed that about six units were gutted by the fire and the number of market stalls affected is still unknown.
The BFP said no one was injured during the incident and was declared fire out at about 9:02 p.m.
