FORGOTTEN? Dennis Padila MIA in Julia Barretto's Father's Day posts

Did she greet him in private or did she intentionally bypass him?

These are among questions of fans wondering why Julia Barretto seemingly didn’t post a greeting for her father considering the occasion.

While there are others who were quick to defend Julia, noting how it might be because Dennis upset her dishing more than what is necessary on her and boyfriend Gerald Anderson in his now controversial interview with Ogie Diaz, there are some who insist it is not reason enough.

Some of the comments:

"Nakakaloka si Julia...humahabol sa pagkakontrobersyal ni Greta...ano ba yung bumati siya sa ama kahit manlang pakitang tao??"

“Nakakabwiset naman kasi talaga yung ama. Panira. Hindi na nga good provider wala pang ginawa kundi hilahin pababa mga anak.”

“Well-raised daw? I don’t think so...”

“Ang lakas ng loob magmalaki ng batang ito...not a good example to kids her age...”

“E ayaw niyang bumati e. Bakit ba? Kailangan ba talaga naka-public? Malay ninyo naman...mga pakialamera...”

Note that on the said date, the actress actually took time to post photos of her and her granddad, Miguel Barretto, co-actor Ian Veneracion, her mom Marjorie Barretto as with her siblings.

Dennis and Julia are still mum on the matter.
