SWEET! Sunshine Cruz recalls love story with Ara Mina's brother

Sunshine Cruz and Macky Mathay

Actress Sunshine Cruz is thankful to have found love again.

In fact, she had no plans of being in a relationship because she was too focused on work and giving her children with former husband Cesar Montano a comfortable life.

Following her separation in 2013, she had her second chance in love in 2016.

This after, Macky Mathay, brother of Ara Mina, sent her a direct message.

The rest is history.

These days, Sunshine declared she has no regrets.

According to her, having Macky is one of the "best decisions" she had.

"Thank you for accepting me and loving me for who I really am. Hindi ko alam na pwede palang hindi pinaaalala ang mga kamalian na nagawa ng isang tao sa past. You accepted me for my past (mistakes/decisions) and my present," said she.

"Thank you for being the best father figure to the girls. Ikaw ang tumatayong ama nila and they’re blessed to have you in their lives too! Thank you my Macky! I love you! We love you!"

She also noted how Macky's kids from a previous marriage are also blessed to have a father like him.
