Maybank launches virtual car dealership-hopping experience

Maybank Philippines Inc. (MPI) has invested further in improving and developing its digital platforms, launching a system that will help potential car loan borrowers hop from one car dealership to another virtually.

In a statement, MPI said it has worked on building a portal for its clients to assist them in achieving their goal of purchasing their dream cars, bringing the clients’ physical car dealership-hopping experience to the virtual realm.

"This is made possible through its new digital channel the Maybank Zone, shifting the customer journey of choosing a car online, with applying for a Maybank Auto Loan at the end of this journey," MPI said.

When visiting the zone, the client will be welcomed with a visit to the Car Virtual Showroom, where he can search based on brand, price points or model or type of car.

If the client has a specific brand preference, he can click on any of the brand logos in the showroom and he will be led to their digital catalogue and choose from an extensive list of car options.

And once he is convinced on the car to buy, he can request from a quotation and or apply for a

Maybank Auto Loan, all these without having to leave the site.

Maybank Zone also allows the client to open an iSave account, an online-only account, to apply for a Maybank Credit Card and Personal Loan.

In the coming months, more products and services will be made available through Maybank Zone.

"This is how Maybank humanizes financial services both traditionally and digitally to make it more convenient for everyone to realize their dreams even through this challenging time," it added.
