First-time dad John Lloyd Cruz looks every inch a doting father as he carries his son Elias on his shoulders in a snap he shared on Father's Day.

The black-and-white picture was uploaded on Instagram on June 20.

John Lloyd has maintained how he is still around mainly because of his love child with Ellen Adarna, Derek Ramsay's current flame. He didn’t get into details about his statement.

Back then, John Lloyd also talked about how he has been enjoying fatherhood.

In fact, John Lloyd admitted how he and Ellen knew they were going to be parents.

“We wanted it. We know it was going to happen,” he said in mixed English and Filipino.

Meanwhile, John Lloyd described his three-year-old son as “very stubborn like me and like the mother.”
