7 PH universities enter 2021 real impact rankings

Seven schools in the Philippines were among the top universities which have made a global impact based on rankings by World's Universities with Real Impact (WURI).

Far Eastern University (feu.edu.ph)

Far Eastern University placed 79th in the Global Top 100 Innovative Universities, up from its last year rank of 91st.

Meanwhile, Biliran Province State University, Cebu Normal University, FEU Institute of Technology, Mariano Marcos State University, St. Paul University of the Philippines, and Tarlac Agricultural University entered the 101-200 bracket.

The rankings were based on performance indicators in areas of industrial applications; value-creating startups and entrepreneurship; social responsibility; and student mobility.

WURI also highlights creative and innovative approaches to university research and education.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States has gained the top position.
