Robinsons Place Manila becomes first mall in Manila to receive 'Safety Seal' certificate

Robinsons Place Manila became the first mall in Manila to receive a "Safety Seal" certification from the city government on June 2.

Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso, together with Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna, Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez, and Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya, awarded the safety seal to Robinsons and four other establishments inside the mall.

The "Safety Seal" is granted to business establishments that are "compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government and uses or integrates its contact racing with StaySafe.ph."

“Ito ay senyales at simbolo ng pagbibigay ng kapanatagan ng kalooban sa mamamayan na pwede na kayo pumunta anytime...sa Robinsons Place (This is a sign and a symbol giving people the peace of mind that they can come to Robinsons Place anytime),” Domagoso said in his speech at the awarding of the Safety Seal.

Domagoso lauded the mall for being granted the Safety Seal which he said was not easy to receive.

Aside from awarding the Safety Seal, Domagoso also inspected the first day of vaccination being held inside the mall.

Vaccinations at Robinsons Place Manila along with three other malls, namely, SM San Lazaro, SM Manila, and Lucky China Town Mall began on June 2.

Each mall has 1,500 vaccines to deploy.

Domagoso said the rollout in the four malls will serve as the city’s practice for the vaccination of the A4 priority group or the economic frontliners.
