Vickie Rushton honored at Bb. Pilipinas swimsuit presentation

Vickie Rushton was recently honored during the Binibining Pilipinas'Â pre-pageant swimsuit presentation.

Inspired by the Paru-Paro Festival, the candidates showcased their curves at the poolside of Novotel Manila in Araneta City wearing yellow swimsuits as designed by Domz Ramos.Â

Miss Grand International 2020 1st runner-up Samantha Bernardo headlined the event wearing butterfly wings created by Jomar Peralta.

She completed her look with a headpiece courtesy of Manny Halasan.

The said wing was originally part of Vickie's national costume ensemble.

Vickie reacted, "Wings ko ba yon?"

Vickie was supposed to compete this year but she wasn't able to continue her journey due to age limit restrictions.

TheÂ beauty queen from Negros Occidental has since retired from pageantry.

Recall that then,Â Domz of DR Swim said the swimsuit prelims design and concept is "dedicated" to Vickie.
