QC gov't to launch another COVID-19 vaccine booking system

The Quezon City government will be launching another mode of vaccination booking process so residents can make appointments more easily.

This came after a number of residents encountered difficulty getting schedules for their inoculation through barangay-assisted booking process and through the eZConsult website "given the limited supply of vaccines," the local government said.

The new mode, a city government-assisted online registration and scheduling system, will be made available to the public by next week as it is already on its final testing stages, it added.

"Following the ultimatum we imposed on eZConsult to upgrade their server capacity and address other reported issues by Friday, June 18, we were told by eZConsult that they have succeeded in fixing their system. However, we can only assess these improvements when we schedule another round of online booking," the local government said in a statement.

City officials assured their constituents that they will continue implementing measures that will ensure the public's "efficient access to COVID-19 vaccines."

The local government also asked its constituents for their patience as it introduces different modes to book their COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

"Once we have a sufficient and steady supply of vaccines, we will be able to reach out to more QCitizens whether they register online or via assisted booking," it said.
