Parañaque City launches Philsys registration at SM Bicutan

The Parañaque City government launched the Philippine Identification System (Philsys) registration on June 18 at Cinema 3, 2nd Level, Building B of SM Bicutan.

Mar Jimenez, public information chief, discussed during the launching of the Philsys registration the importance of having one ID system.

Jimenez said the Philsys aims to establish a single national identification system for all Filipinos. It aims to simplify public and private transactions.

He said Mayor Edwin Olivarez also encourages all the residents to register at the Philsys so the city government can easily identify the legitimate residents of the city.
