Pialago's followers rally behind her decision to join NTF-ELCAC

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Assistant Secretary Celine Pialago appears to have fully warmed up to her new role as one of the spokespersons of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC).

And based on her followers' reactions to her Facebook post Friday night, June 18, Pialago also enjoys their backing as far as her taking on the sensitive gig is concerned.

In her post, the MMDA official shared a photo of her sporting an NTF-ELCAC vest along with a dead-serious look. "Mabuhay NTF ELCAC! " the 30-year-old Pialago wrote.

In less than 40 minutes, the post garnered over 12,000 likes and 4,300 hearts.

"Yes you ready to catch a big fish catch them all," commented Ricardo Abobon.

"Bagay ang aura mo Mdm Celine (It fits your aura, Madame Celine)," Danny Acupido said, as if linking Pialago's facial expression to her duties with the task force. A certain Canon Jalac described the same expression as a "tiger look".

Meanwhile, Facebook user Mac Roberto chose to be more direct with his message of support for Pialago , saying, "We support NTF ELCAC ." Pialago serves as the NTF-ELCAC spokesperson on public affairs and youth concerns. She came out with her first official statement as task force mouthpiece earlier this month when she called out Kabataan Party-List Rep. Sarah Jane Elago for her statements regarding the death of 21-year-old footballer Keith Absalon in the hands of the New People’s Army (NPA).

The anti-communist task force has eight spokespersons in all.
