The Mandaluyong City local government extended its COVID-19 vaccination hours for its residents in its bid to further boost the city's vaccination program.

The extension gives residents who cannot be inoculated in the morning due to their work a chance to be vaccinated against the virus.
"Patuloy ang pagsasagawa ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng night vaccination-extended hours sa piling vaccination sites sa Mandaluyong para mas mapalawig at mapabilis ang pagbabakuna sa mga residente at mga nagtatrabaho sa Mandaluyong (The city government continues the night vaccination-extended hours in some of its vaccination sites in Mandaluyong to expand the inoculation of its residents and those working in Mandaluyong)," the city government said in a Facebook post.

According to the Mandaluyong PIO, the Mandaluyong City Medical Center (MCMC) Mega Vax Site 1 and the SM Megamall Mega Vax Center are the only vaccination sites in the city that have extended vaccination hours.
The two sites are open until 8 P.M. from the previous 4 or 5 P.M.
The LGU urged its residents to register for free in the city's vaccination program MANDAVAX (https://mandavax.egapsonline.com/Mandaluyong/manda-vaccine/).
Meanwhile, the City Health Office (CHO) announced that the city has already deployed 142,229 vaccines and has recorded 180 active COVID-19 cases, 15,934 recoveries, and 417 deaths as of June 17.
