Fully vaccinated senior citizens allowed to go out in Pasay City

The Pasay City government now allows fully vaccinated senior citizens to go out of their residences.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano issued on June 15 an executive order limiting the movement of those below 18 years old and over 65 years old in going out of their residences.

The order states that movement of fully vaccinated senior citizens in areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified general community quarantine shall be allowed, subject to the presentation of a duly issued COVID-19 vaccination card.

No interzonal travel shall be allowed other than point- to- point travel under IATF 118-A s. 2021, according to Rubiano.

The curfew from 12 midnight up to 4:00 a.m. -- from June 16 to June 31 -- must also be strictly observed. The city government wants all residents to be at their home except those still out for purposes of work and those on their way home.

Barangays are still allowed to implement road closure and control points as warranted, limited to barangay roads, esquenuitas, alleys, callejon and other interior roads provided that they notify and coordinate with the city government.

The city’s public market will still continue to implement the market day scheme in all 201 barangays in the city. All residents have to strictly comply with the assigned schedule of their barangays.

The order also states that all law enforcers, the police, barangays officials and tanods, the Pasay City Public Order and Safety Unit (POSU), and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office shall heighten the enforcement of all health measures and protocols.
