This time, it’s going online
As a bookworm, nothing beats a 2 a.m. drive knowing you’ll be in a massive place filled with books at discounted prices.
Hosted regularly at the World Trade Center, open for literally 24 hours in a span of 10 days (at least before the pandemic), may it be shopping for gifts ahead of time or getting a couple of books for yourself, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale has any and every book for you.
It has been more than a year since we last experienced this—the biggest book sale not just in the Philippines but in the world. And as bad as we want to relive the whole experience, our current and unfortunate circumstances isn’t permitting us to do so. On the greener side of things, Big Bad Wolf’s organizers recently announced that they will be opening the book sale online and still on a nationwide scale.
So yes, we won’t be pushing carts overflowing with works from our favorite authors but we can still procure our desired titles through a different way of “adding to cart.”
