Mt. Balabag now open for vaccinated tourists

The local government of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan has opened its doors to tourists who are already vaccinated against COVID-19.

The city's tourism office in a Facebook post Tuesday invited those who are already inoculated to visit and trek Mt. Balabag through its Dumagat Trail.

Interested tourists may register at the registration tent in Purok 6 in Barrio Licao-licao, Barangay San Isidro.

They only need to present their COVID-19 vaccination card, which shows they have already completed their two doses or a negative swab test result taken for the past 72 hours, and a valid ID with address.

Meanwhile, residents who also wish to visit Mt. Balabag will only need to register on site and bring any valid ID to prove they are residing in the city.
