Manila breaks single-day vaccination record anew

Manila City broke its single-day vaccination record anew on Monday (June 14).

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said the city was able to inoculate 25,668 individuals on Monday, beating its previous record of 21,824 last May 29.

Domagoso thanked Manileños for their cooperation with the city’s vaccination campaign.

The mayor also thanked the Manila Health Department, the city’s healthcare workers, and barangay workers.

“Konting tiis na lang po, makakaraos din tayo. Sama-sama po nating pagtagumpayan ang pandemyang ito (Just a little more patience and we will get through this. Let’s overcome this pandemic together),” Domagoso said.

As of June 14, the city has vaccinated 242,977 individuals with the first dose and 111,165 individuals with the second dose.
