'Gone Girl' Lisa Banes dies at 65 from tragic accident

Lisa Barnes, known for Gone Girl and Cocktail, was involved in a hit-and-run e-scooter incident last June 4 in New York city. She was on vacation when it happened. The driver has yet to be found. Since that fateful day, Banes has been fighting for her life. Unfortunately, she succumbed to death today, June 15.

Actor Seth MacFarlane also tweeted to confirm the sad news, "I am deeply saddened at the news of Lisa Banes’ passing. We had the good fortune to work with her on The Orville this past year. Her stage presence, magnetism, skill and talent were matched only by her unwavering kindness and graciousness toward all of us. A tremendous loss…"
