President Duterte is so far satisfied with the government's pace of the vaccination after more than 6 million coronavirus doses have been administered.

The President said the country recently received additional coronavirus vaccines boosting the nation's supply and urged the essential workers to get vaccinated "without fear or delay."

The government has started to inoculate country's workforce, particularly those physically reporting to their workplace, this month. Health workers, senior citizens, and people with comorbidity were earlier given priority in the vaccine line.

"I am also pleased to note that on June 7, the government has already administered more than 6 million jabs of priority groups: A1 - healthcare, A2 - senior citizens, A3 - persons with comorbidities and A4 - economic frontliners," he said during a televised address Monday, June 14.

"Many LGUs (local government units) have started vaccination for and we hope our economic frontliners will go to the vaccination sites without fear or delay," he said.

The country's vaccine stocks have reached 12.7 million doses, that included the deliveries of Sputnik V, Pfizer and Sinovac shots. More than 1.8 million people have completed their vaccination since the government began the inoculation drive lat March.

The President welcomed the growing number of vaccine supply in the country, urging people to get vaccinated as soon possible. He warned that those who refused to get inoculated might end up getting infected.

"Ayaw ninyong magpabakuna? Patay kayo sigurado (You don't want to get vaccinated? You'll certainly die)," he said.
