EXO's 'Don't Fight the Feeling' sells 902,000 copies in first week, tops chart

K-pop boy band EXO’s special album “Don’t Fight the Feeling” has sold 902,210 copies in the first week of release.

According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, with the sales, “Don’t Fight the Feeling” has topped the weekly physical album chart for the period June 7 to 13.

The album was released on June 7 and sold 647,010 copies (first place) on the first day, followed by 28,667 (first place) on June 8; 66,240 (first place) on June 9; 75,808 (first place) on June 10; 17,211 (second place) on June 11; 2,520 (4th place) on June 12; and 64,754 (first place) on June 13) based on Hanteo’s daily album chart.

The total first-week sales for “Don’t Fight the Feeling” are 459,439 copies more than EXO’s last album “Obsession,” released on Nov. 27, 2019, which sold 442,771 copies in the first week, or an increase of 103.7 percent.

“Obsession” sold 269,801 copies on the first day followed by 93,718, 33,872, 10,285, 16,220, 13,002 and 5,873. It placed first on Hanteo Chart’s monthly physical album charts in November and December 2019.
