Angel Locsin urges Filipinos to vote

Actress Angel Locsin is the latest celebrity to encourage Filipinos to exercise their rights to vote by doing the first step - register.

Through Instagram, Angel said it's time that people break free from the circumstance of chance and take full charge of changing the course of their fates.

"With #Halalan2022 on the horizon, we are no longer just standing by the sidelines, because we know much better: our choice matters," she said.

The Kapamilya star declared that a "better" Philippines is what the Filipinos "want" and "deserve."

"A Philippines that stands for and with our people; a Philippines that does not discriminate or hate. Now is the time that we fight for what we deserve," Angel wrote.

Angel, 36, pointed out that as stakeholders of the nation, Filipinos are committed to forge the path to a "stronger democracy, accountable governance, and a renewed Philippines."

"Claim your power to appoint equitable officials by registering to vote before September 30, 2021. Let’s do our part. You may register to vote now," she ended.
