YAKAP! Kapuso stars Ruby Rodriguez, Lovi Poe reunite in LA

Reunited and it feels so good!

Kapuso stars Ruby Rodriguez and Love Poe reunited once again - this time in the US.

On Instagram June 11, Ruby shared a sweet snap where she embraced Lovi in Koreatown, Los Angeles.
"Nanay Coring and Sensen️️️ Im so happy to see you @lovipoe.... Owe my Love sa Cali?? thank you so much... my peeps thanks u too! Monty you the best?? see you one weekend with @ninichips," Ruby wrote on IG.

Both Ruby and Lovi appeared in the Kapuso series "Owe My Love" which ended its run last June 4. In the show, Ruby played Nanay Coring while Lovi as Sensen.

Before Ruby went to the US, she taped some episodes for the romantic-comedy show.

It was Ruby's last TV series for GMA-7 before she decided to work in the US.

Ruby, 55, now works at the Philippine Consulate General Office in Los Angeles following her exit from the popular noontime show "Eat Bulaga." Before showbiz, Ruby worked as a teacher and an employee of a multinational firm in the Philippines.

These days, Ruby is being managed by Viva Films. “I started with Viva, and it’s like going back to your roots. I am very honored to be part of Viva Talent Agency once again.”

Ruby said that she can always go back to the Philippines to shoot if there’s a good project. But the actress revealed she and her family have migrated to the US for more than 10 years now. The comedienne and her husband Mark are also taking care of their son AJ who has special needs.

Lovi, on the other hand, has been staying in the US with her boyfriend Monty Blencowe since September 2020. There she also launched her music career as she released her latest single, "Under."
