Xavier University students develop database system for Jesuit mission schools
Computer Studies students from Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan have developed automated systems for three Jesuit mission schools.

The students developed "unique and creative approaches" to manage the enrollment system, registrar database system, and library management system to improve the consistency of query results, data collection, and data management.
The systems will be used by Pangantucan Community High School, Fr. Leoni Memorial School, and St. Therese School of Miarayon.
"The COVID-19 pandemic prompted a modification of the university's educational method which includes the delivery of service learning," the university said.
The Flexible e-Service Learning approach was adopted to "ensure students' safety while fulfilling the university's mission of academic and social formation" and to "utilize their acquired knowledge and skills in addressing the communities' needs."
