Manila in urgent need of doctors, nurses for its COVID-19 Field Hospital

The Manila Health Department (MHD) is in urgent need of registered doctors, nurses, and radiologic technologists to man the city’s COVID-19 Field Hospital.

In a Facebook post, the Manila City Public Information Office (PIO) said those who wish to apply for a post can submit their requests on or before June 14.

Applicants will need to submit a “personal data sheet, letter of intent, and other pertinent documents to the MHD’s personnel section,” the PIO said.

Interview for applicants will be done on June 15 at Room 331 Division of School Health Services in Manila City Hall Building.

Applicants can also contact MHD at 5310-1220 to inquire about further details about the job.

The Manila COVID-19 Hospital has a 336-bed capacity. It was built to decongest the city’s district hospital of mild to moderate cases.

The city started the construction of the field hospital in April 2021. Mayor Manila Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagaoso, in an interview in May, said the hospital will be operational by July.
