Man, woman shot dead in QC

A man and his female companion were shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Quezon City Wednesday night.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Brig. Gen. Antonio Yarra ordered his men to conduct a probe into the ambush of the victims who were aboard a car when the incident happened in Barangay Doña Mariana around 8:20 p.m.

The incident was witnessed by a pedestrian, who later told police that one of the two assailants even got off their motorcycle before shooting the male victim who was driving the car.

The driver’s female companion tried to escape when she was dragged out of the car, but she was also shot dead, the witness added.

The victims died from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

Police added that they got the names of the victims but they still have to validate them with their relatives.
