Ai Ai Delas Alas reveals plan to have baby this year via IVF

Ai Ai Delas Alas and her husband Gerald Sibayan are well on their way to becoming parents.

"May embryo na kami," said Ai Ai on "Tunay Na Buhay," relating to the in vitro fertilization (IVF) they started in 2017. 

The Mayo Clinic described the complex series of procedures as something used to help with fertility or the conception of a child.

During IVF, mature eggs are collected (retrieved) from ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a lab.

When asked about their "timeline," Gerald declared: "This year!"

Meanwhile, in the same interview, the couple was asked about the secret to their lasting relationship. 

"Panalangin, dasal. Nagno-novena kami always, sabay kaming nagno-novena," said the 56-year-old Comedy Queen. 

Recently the two celebrated their 7th anniversary as a couple.
