Maja Salvador recalls toxic relationship with Gerald Anderson: 'Gapang ako, nawala ako...'

Maja Salvador finally admitted falling in love with Gerald Anderson was a huge mistake, career-wise.

The actress looked back on the matter in a recent interview with Mega Entertainment's G3 San Diego.

She said, “Dapat hindi namin pinilit. Oo, na-in love kami sa isa’t isa pero siguro yung mahirap na sa umpisa pero parang andiyan na eh!"

The fact that Gerald was the former flame of her best friend Kim Chiu, added to the ruckus.

Maja recalled, "Nag-struggle kami dalawa, individually."

But Gerald was able to bounce back easily.

It was harder for her.

"Ako, gapang talaga from the start. Siya, dumadami pa yung commercials niya. Ako, as in gapang... nawala ako. Nawalan ako ng mga endorsement.”

The two eventually broke up after two years.

Maja is now in a relationship with businessman Rambo Nuñez.

Gerald is with Julia Barretto.
