Angel Locsin marks first year of ABS-CBN shutdown

She hasn't forgotten.

Angel Locsin took to social media to remind followers of the shutdown of her home network ABS-CBN a year ago.

She wrote, "May 5, 2020 saved pictures on my phone."

The actress went on to write what seemed like a short poem dedicated to the network.

It read: "Isang taon na ang lumipas.

Pero ang sakit ay hindi lilipas.

Hirap man, pero kailangan pa ring bumangon.

Para sa tao.

Hindi man maintindihan ng iba ang nasa puso,

Patuloy pa rin sa pagbangon.

Hindi susuko at patuloy na lumalaban.

Dahil para sa tao.

Laging para sa tao.

Her fans were quick to react, lauding her for the effort.

Others made clear their support.

"Andito lang kami. Hihintayin namin ang pagbabalik ninyo..."

"Mabuhay ka Angel. Mabuhay ang ABS-CBN. Saludo ako sa inyo..."

"Nananatili kayo sa aming puso at isipan..."
