4 PCG officers graduated int’l maritime officers course in USA


Four Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) commissioned officers have graduated from the United States Coast Guard International Officers Course in Virginia, USA.

In a statement on Thursday, May 6, the PCG and the US Embassy in the Philippines lauded the four commissioned officers for their accomplishment.

The class leader and honor graduate was PCG’s Lieutenant Commander Cherryl Boblo of the Coast Guard Aviation Force.

Lieutenant Commanders Angela Tobias, Benjamin Misador, and Rolando Pabillar also graduated from the course.

They underwent comprehensive lectures and training exercises to enhance their maritime law enforcement capabilities.

The international officer's course enables Coast Guard officers from around the world to share best practices to increase maritime law enforcement capabilities.
