Song Joong Ki posts thank-you note; fans, celebs wish for 'Vincenzo' season 2

Song Joong Ki marked the end of his drama "Vincenzo" by expressing his gratitude to its supporters.

On Instagram, Song wrote: "Thank you very much to everyone who loved the drama."

Less than 12 hours after, the post garnered mixed reactions receiving almost 2 million likes and more than 85,000 comments.

Most netizens thanked Song for the beautiful drama.

"Cassano Geumga Family I will miss you all," another wrote.

Some online users requested the producers of the show for a new season.

Indonesian actress Ersa Mayor commented: "Vincenzo season 2, please?"

The comeback drama of South Korean star aired its 20th and final episode on May 2, and it garnered the highest rating for the series.

The story revolves around a Korean-Italian mafia lawyer Vincenzo who gives an unrivaled conglomerate a taste of its own medicine with a side of justice during a visit to his motherland.

Also in the cast are Jeon Yeo-been, OK Taecyeon, Kim Yeo-jin, and Kwak Dong-yeon.
