Is Palace reporter Joseph Morong leaving GMA-7, or will he just be transferred to another beat?

This after some netizens were surprised by his post on May 3 in which he wrote in his caption: "This might be the last summary you will get from me. It's been a privilege to serve you."

Morong's full post:

"Tadah! Highlights of Pres. Duterte's address tonight @gmanews(Heads-up: if this is Pres. Duterte's only "Talk to the People" address this week, this might be the last summary you will get from me. It's been a privilege to serve you."

Since the pandemic started in 2020, netizens lauded Morong for sharing on social media the condensed version of the various issues which President Duterte' discussed in his weekly "Talk to the People" program.
