Mayor Isko commends Manila traffic enforcer in viral altercation with female violator

The Manila traffic enforcer who was hit by a female driver while in the line of duty was commended by Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Monday.

During the city government’s Monday flag ceremony, Domagoso presented a token of appreciation to Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) enforcer Marcos Anzures for setting a good example to his colleagues.

“Kinilala niya ang kanyang tungkulin na maglingkod sa kapwa na may mahabang pasensya at pangunawa,” Domagoso said.

“Bagay lamang na siya ay ating ipakilala na isang magandang halimbawa na lingkod bayan,” the mayor added.

Domagoso lauded Anzures for keeping his cool amid the altercation between him and the traffic violator, who was later found to be an alleged drug courier.

The mayor said Anzures set aside his personal feelings and dealt with the situation with professionalism.
