Klarisse de Guzman was hailed the Grand Winner of “Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 3” after receiving the highest score in The Grand Showdown, which aired on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z channel 11 on May 29 and May 30.

After a jaw-dropping performance as Patti LaBelle, the Soul Diva garnered a score of 90 percent based on combined accumulated scores and public votes to lead all celebrity performers in the hit Kapamilya celebrity musical impersonation competition.

“Sobrang ‘di po ako makapaniwala kasi sobrang tagal ko nang pinangarap na makahawak ng trophy as a title,” said Klarisse, who went home with a trophy, P1 million, and a brand new house and lot from Lessandra as the season’s champion. (I cannot believe it! It's my dream to hold a trophy as a title).

She added, “Mahal na mahal ko po ‘tong show and hindi ko po makakalimutan ang experience na ito kasi parang iniba niya po ako. Na-try ko ‘yung mga bagay na hindi ko nagagawa before so maraming maraming salamat po.”

Coming in second to her was Lie Reposposa who impersonated Dulce (80.43 percent), followed by Vivoree Esclito who came out as Ariana Grande (78.4 percent), the iDolls who performed as the Three Tenors (72.35 percent), Christian Bables who took the stage as Lady Gaga (63.2 percent), and CJ Navato who rocked the night as Bruno Mars (59.39 percent), and Geneva Cruz who performed as Nicole Scherzinger (46.88 percent).

In the Grand Showdown, 50 percent of the final scores of the contestants came from the combined scores they received from the jury from Week 1 to Week 12. The other 50 percent came from text votes from the viewers, who were able to vote after all the performances in the Grand Showdown were completed.

Host Luis Manzano, jurors Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, and Sharon Cuneta, and celebrity mentors Jed Madela and Nyoy Volante were all brimming with pride as they watched the celebrity performers emerge from the iconator for the final time, this time to impersonate the music icon of their choice.

In the end, Klarisse, who has also impersonated Christina Aguilera, Shakira, Jaya, Britney Spears, Minnie Riperton, Mariah Carey, Tom Jones, Lani Misalucha, Sharon Cuneta, Ann Wilson, Aretha Franklin, and Toni Basil, and won four times in the weekly competition, proved to be the brightest of them all

Klarisse joins Melai Cantiveros-Francisco and Denise Laurel as Filipino Grand Winners of “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” which also had kid editions won by Awra Briguela and TNT Boys. 

Apart from the amazing transformations this season, viewers also enjoyed the fun challenges and interaction with virtual KaFamiliars within the program and the “KaFamiliar Online Live” show with Darren Espanto, AC Bonifacio, and Jeremy Glinoga during commercial breaks.
