The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Monday, May 31, said it is not affiliated with PiliPinas2022.ph which is conducting an online survey on the next leader of the country.

"Good morning patriots! PiliPinas2022.ph is not affiliated with the Comelec in any way," Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez said on Twitter.

He said the public should think twice about using or clicking on online survey websites created and managed by unknown entities as these may pose security risks.

Jimenez also added that surveys "do not predict election outcomes."

In February, the Comelec also said that the group One Vote PH is not affiliated with them and is not an accredited citizens' arm of the poll body.

The poll body issued the statement after learning that the group has been introducing itself as a non-profit/community organization on Facebook and in email blasts to various government agencies as a nationwide campaign for educating the public regarding voter registration, voting, electoral reform, and other issues concerning the right to vote and about general election.

The group, the Comelec said, also goes by the following names/aliases on Facebook such as One Vote PH Volunteers, Magpa Rehistro Ka, Keystrat Campaign Hub or Key Strategy Campaign Hub Co., Keynote Leaders or "I Trust Keynote Leaders", One Philippines or "I Trust One Philippines", Poll Watchers PH, Bantay Boto PH or "I Trust Bantay Boto PH", Election 2022 or "I Trust Election 2022", Halalan 2022 or "I Trust Halalan 2022", Vote Philippines 2022, Boto Pilipinas 2022, Philippine Business Club or Philippine Business Club Worldwide, Astig Kabataan Pinoy, and Youth Voters.
