Personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Eastern Visayas have conducted a feeding program for the children of City Social Welfare Development (CSWD) in Ormoc City, Leyte.
In a statement, the PCG said the feeding program aims to strengthen the moral and nutritional growth of the children in Ormoc.

Coast Guard District Eastern Visayas personnel, along with operational unit members, have worked together to feed the children in Barangay Dolores, Ormoc City, Leyte on Thursday, May 27.
The PCG personnel have also prepared an audio visual presentation for the children to share the functions of the humanitarian armed service in the country.

Some Coast Guard personnel have also shared personal stories of how they thrived to gain success in the armed service.
“These were done with hope that the children will also find inspiration and be encouraged to study and strive to succeed in life also. Thereby becoming better members of the society,” the Coast Guard said.
