Sharon Cuneta reacts to rumor she's a victim of domestic violence

Megastar Sharon Cuneta has reacted to rumors that she's a victim of her husband Senator Kiko Pangilinan's domestic violence.

Sharon cleared the rumors herself via Instagram live session along with Kiko.

She belied the gossip that she went to America because her husband allegedly abuses her.

“Sa awa ng Diyos, mula ng pagkabata ko, wala pa po naman akong nakilala, minahal, nakasama o ano pa man na nasaktan ako. Maaaring sa puso pero hindi physical, ever. (Thanked God, ever since I was young, I never met, love, or be with someone who hurt me. Maybe wounded my heart, but never physically, ever.),” she shared.

Sharon also pointed out Kiko never laid his hands on her.

She noted how her late dad advised her to leave someone who would harm her.

"Dahil ang susunod na daw suntok, sipa, tas bubugbugin ka na. (Because it will now be followed with punching, kicking, and then beating)," she added.

Sharon also laughed at the fake news that she was dating a young boyfriend, and he got her pregnant.

She revealed that she flew to Los Angeles, California to shoot a Hollywood movie along with an all-Filipino cast, including comedian Jo Koy. However, it didn't push through after she got a “false positive” COVID-19 test result.
