Heart Evangelista helps netizen's ailing father recover

A netizen took to social media to thank actress Heart Evangelista who helped her family brought his father to the hospital at the height of the pandemic in 2020.

One year ago since it happened, twitter user @ellaaprior said that her family would be forever grateful to Heart for her assistance.

Ella recalled that she and her sister simply took the chance to tweet Heart and asked for her help.

They prayed hard that a Good Samaritan would read their tweet and help them.

Ella said that Heart really went out of her way to help them, as the actress would check the hospital cashier for the medical expenses.

She added that Heart never neglected them until his father recovered during those troubled moments.

"Naalala ko nong isang taon, ganitong panahon... yung tatay ko hindi matanggap tanggap sa hospital dahil sa pandemic, naririnig ko nagsasabi na sya kay mama na dalhin sya sa ospital pero hindi talaga kami matanggap madaming try pero wala talaga.

"Hanggang sa nakikita ko yung mga tao nahingi ng tulong sakanya via Twitter. Naglakas loob ako, nag gawa ako ng account tinweet ko lahat ng nangyayare kay papa.

"Dasal kami ng dasal ng ate ko noon para madala si papa sa ospital ng biglang nag DM sya sakin na tutulungan nya si papa.

"Sumugal kami ni mama kahit mukang walang kasiguraduhan, kahit parang malabo nagtiwala ako.

"May 29, 2020 hindi ko malilimutan na ramdam na ramdam ko na mahal ni Lord si papa kase nagpadala sya ng tao na tutulong samin para sa tatay ko.

"Ms @heart021485 sobrang salamat sayo, nakapagthank you naman ako via phone call noon pero ginulantang mo ang EAC Medical Center dahil lagi ka tumatawag sa cashier, nurses at doctors kung kamusta si papa and all. Hindi mo kami pinabayaan hanggan huli."
