The much-awaited BTS Meal has arrived in several countries starting on May 26 and BTS ARMYs have found ways to donate it or keep it as souvenirs.

Each BTS Meal consists of a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium World Famous Fries, medium Coke and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces.

On May 26, the BTS Meal started to be offered in the US, Austria, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Israel, Malaysia, Paraguay, St. Maarten and Ukraine.

The following day, it arrived in Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Oman, South Korea and Vietnam, and on May 28 in Malta and Puerto Rico. The BTS Meal was supposed to be launched in Singapore on May 27 but due to social distancing measures, it was postponed to June 21.

In Malaysia, BTS ARMYs donated 124 sets of BTS Meal to frontliners at the University of Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM) and at the children’s ward at Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia in Kota Bharu.

“Thank you so much superheroes for your hard work and get well soon kiddies,” according to Twitter account @PurpleProject7, which organized the donation project with the help of other BTS ARMYs.

Other BTS ARMYs kept BTS Meal packaging as souvenirs, making them as hanging organizers or framing them.

In South Korea, a BTS Meal costs 5,900 won ($5.3) while it is $8.49 in the US and $12.79 CND and $11.29 CND plus tax in Canada.

US Chargé d’Affaires to South Korea Rob Rapson tweeted his visit to a McDonald’s store in South at the launch of the BTS Meal.

“Not semiconductors or EV batteries… just two great US & South Korea icons @Mcdonalds & @BTS_twt doing big business together - a #Dynamite combo and meal to go with it. Thank you team McDonald's for letting me join the launch fun today! #BTSMeal,” he wrote.

Filipino-Canadian Fernando Fulgar accompanied his kids to a McDonald’s outlet in Calgary and said, “In fairness, the sauce is delicious.”

Filipino-American Amy Medina who lives in Washington was a little disappointed as only the bag had the BTS logo when she purchased the BTS Meal.

“They only have the bag with the BTS logo and the new sauce (plus the food too). But no other stuff like they have in other Asian countries,” she said.

Customers in the Philippines can order the BTS Meal in stores through dine-in, take-out, drive-thru and via McDelivery starting June 18.
