Parts of Mandaluyong, San Juan, Pasig, and QC to experience water interruption next week
Water concessionaire Manila Water announced Friday that several parts of Mandaluyong, San Juan, Pasig, and Quezon City will experience water interruption next week.
In a Facebook post, Manila Water said that 39 barangays in the said cities will be affected by a maintenance activity in Quezon City starting June 2 until June 3.
"Manila Water will undertake a cut-and-plug activity on the old 500mm mainline along Ortigas Avenue near EDSA, Brgy. Ugong Norte, Quezon City to prevent further pipe breakages in the area," Manila Water said.
"This activity will cause temporary water service interruption in 39 barangays in Mandaluyong, Pasig, Quezon City and San Juan beginning Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00 PM until 9:00 AM, Thursday, June 3, 2021." it added.
The affected barangays are as follows:

The company added that residents of the affected barangays are advised to store enough water to supply their needs during the interruption period.
