Repair works will resume on some portions of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) in Quezon City this coming weekend.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said the road maintenance activities will start at 11 p.m. Friday, May 28.
Reblocking activities will be conducted at the northbound section of C-5 Road starting from after C.P. Garcia, third lane from the sidewalk; after Rajah Matanda, third lane from the sidewalk; and after Highland Drive, second lane from the sidewalk.
The northbound direction of EDSA, near the corner of Kaingin Road, will also undergo repair.
According to DPWH–National Capital Region (NCR) Director Eric A. Ayapana, the road works have been cleared by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes to avoid the expected traffic slowdown in these areas.
The affected road sections will reopen at 5 a.m., Monday, May 31.
